Meet Rick
“Let’s try to approach this in a new and creative way”
Rick’s career in real estate began at a young age as the son of a local homebuilder, often working on his father’s construction sites. After graduating from the University of California at Santa Barbara and later Santa Clara University (MBA), Rick began his professional career in 1989 as a commercial real estate broker focusing on the sale and lease of commercial real estate at Fox & Carskadon Commercial, Cornish & Carey Commercial and later Newmark Knight Frank. During the past 30 years, Rick has represented buyers, sellers, landlords and companies in nearly 1,000 commercial real estate transactions of all types.
On the listing side of the transaction, Rick has developed a digital marketing plan that leverages social media channels, thereby allowing for a wider and more effective means of reaching prospective buyers and tenants. Social media marketing can become complicated very quickly and its effective implementation tends to be a moving target. Within an industry that largely relies upon old school marketing collateral and processes, understanding the tools and nuances associated with social media marketing is both differentiating and compelling.
On the tenant representation side of the transaction, client satisfaction tends to hinge upon a base of sound market knowledge, coupled with commitment, accessibility and good communication skills. Rick strives to provide his clients with the information needed to make the best decisions possible, coupled with an open mind to creative approaches, all with the intention of achieving superior results.
