This week’s list of Bay Area Events includes 4 lively foodie events with one taking place right here in Mountain View. The 48th Mountain View Art & Wine Festival will take place September 7-8 on Castro Street in downtown Mountain View. An authentic and moveable feast for the senses, this year’s festival will feature 500 professional artists and craft makers.  Other fun weekend events include Pub in the Park, Avacado Con, and Eat Like An Italian in Palo Alto.

1. Eat Like an Italian

2. Mountain View Farmers Market

Sunday | year-round | 9-1pm

The Mountain View Farmers’ Market has been an award-winning farmers’ market for over 22 years, this market was voted Top 5 in the Nation by American Farmland Trusts’ Favorite Farmers’ Market Contest. This Farmers’ Market showcases over 80 farmers and food purveyors every Sunday, hosted by the City of Mountain View at the Caltrain Station year-round. The third-largest market in the state, it offers an extensive selection of organic produce, baked goods, and fresh flowers.

An avo-lanche of green goodness is rolling into SoMa StrEat Food Park at the second annual Avocado Con!
